All green in the neighborhood!
Langen-Belzborn residential quarter –
After 1 1/2 years of construction – and thus about half a year earlier than planned – the first houses of the new building project will be
“Langener Wiesen” in Langen Belzborn occupied.
53 energy-efficient semi-detached and terraced houses were built here in a residential quarter.
Storage facilities for cars, bicycles and garbage garbage cans for each individual residential unit round off the high-quality features of the houses.
projekt w was responsible for the implementation of the enclosures and has 35 carports including lockable storage for bicycles,
as well as the optically matching garbage can boxes. In the terraced houses, privacy screens were also installed on the terraces.
The new buildings were constructed with energy efficiency in mind and feature green roofs. Accordingly, the environmental aspect should also be considered for the carports and garbage can boxes.
For example, our client, Nassauische Heimstätte Wohnungs- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH, chose the Green Roof Light roof variant, which includes a ready-planted sedum sprout mat as one of its features. The side cladding of all structures was executed in the Woodline wood variant and all visible steel parts were powder-coated in RAL 7016 anthracite gray.
Green roof light as a roof covering and Woodline wood as a side cladding is a popular option for a near-natural interior. The dark powder coating in RAL 7016 anthracite gray provides a modern but harmonious contrast in the design. Thus, the constructions can easily fit into the living environment without being perceived as disturbing to the eye. Not a necessary evil to accommodate everyday items, but an enriching eye-catcher.
