Woodline now also available in vertical: New side panelling variant implemented for the first time
In a current project in Leipzig, a vertically installed version of the proven Woodline side panel was implemented for the first time. A bicycle and waste bin enclosure with a green roof Light was installed.
Woodline side panelling has been one of the most popular solutions in the field of enclosures from projekt w for many years. Until now, it has only been used horizontally – mounted between the supports as standard. In this project, the cladding was used vertically and in front of the supports for the first time.
This constructive change has a noticeable effect:
instead of the typical structure with individual panels, the result is a flat, calm exterior. The vertical structure stands out clearly and is visually reminiscent of a continuous wooden façade – orderly, minimalist, architectural.

Conclusion for planners
The new vertical design complements the existing panels portfolio with a clear design and architecturally calm solution. Especially when installed in front of the supports, it creates a flat, reduced appearance that blends perfectly into urban environments.
